My temperatures are measured using coretemp. Reported load temps are after 1 hour of prime95. I replaced the standard scythe fan with a silenx 72 cfm.

I also have a scythe ninja cooling a q6600. I've got it running at 3 ghz. Idle temps 39/42, full load prime95 65/69. I'm OK with these temperatures. Time will tell if they are too high.

Appreciate the answer, always reassuring to be able to pinpoint a problem. I guess this means that I cannot use my external harddrive with my new computer. I hope the problem can be fixed in a future bios update. Anybody know if the problem can be fixed by disabling the "legacy usb storage...
