the brightness at the point I was posting was at 70, because I lowered the gamma to -50, and reduced the temperature
Also, I have used the tft both with ambient light and without and it still bothers me to look at it !
I bought a 20" ws TFT for the main reason that it is known to cause less eye strain than a CRT.

The L204WT comes incredibly bright so I reduced the gamma to -50 , brightness to 70, contrast to 66 and increased temperature to 6500k (so...
I was satisfied with this monitor,
until I set it to Movie Mode from the tft itself, and while watching a movie it kept going from dark to bright especially where there is black :confused:
Is this normal ?
If I put it in normal mode, it doesn't happen though.
can anyone please tell me what I should do if my games cannot be run @ 1680x1050 ? since people already said that this monitor does not support less than 1440x1050 ?
