This motherboard may accept DDR2 1066.
I was tinkering around with the memory timings and set the ratio to 1:1 and it showed the memory frequency as 1066. Obviously, since I did not have DDR2 1066, I did not try it...
Who knows.....

Since search function is not working, I was wondering what your current North Bridge (system?) temperatures are with the default heatsink, if you do not have a fan on it?

I tried this a while back and it worked.
Just one question, will I be able to access the hard-disk partitions if I boot through the USB key?
Wouldn't having the product page of the motherboard be better.
I know that there are thousands of motherboards out there, but it would be a one-stop shop.
One suggestion before going and flashing the BIOS is to test your overclock (or underclock) in Ntune and then stress test (play a graphics intensive game) to make sure that your overclock would work. If you are satisfied with it, go ahead and flash the new clock speeds.

To those who have the system up and running, what temperatures are you getting.
My E6600, stock, idle (@2.4Ghz) reports 32C,
The System temperature (I am assuming its the North bridge) reports 37-40C when idle.
