    What do you set your brightness to on your 2005FPW?

    Adjusting the brightness, even carefully calibrating the display did not help the backlight leakage problem. I had to return mine and hope the replacement will be better.

    If this were a Panasonic BT-LH1800 I would have zero tolerance for anything short of perfection. But at $430 I don't know the odds of Dell producing a 2005FPW with even low-level backlighting. However, Dell is willing to replace the unit so I'm hoping the replacement will be an improvement.

    Thanks for the encouragement. Yes it does bother me with movies, which otherwise look amazing. Minus this issue this display is a no-brainer bargain. I love Apple but I can't go for the extra $$$ without more in return.
