Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I got my E4500 M0 the other day. So far 233 at stock is good...however jumping to 266 takes at least 1.25V...so yeah I am in the same boat as you. Waiting for my arctic cooler 7 to make that jump to 266
I have a brand new sealed copy of Halo 3 for sale which I won from a contest from place of employment. Looking for $53 shipped and paypal taken. Ebay username is mgikflwr18. Any questions please PM me...thanks!!!
This is for an OEM CPU I had for 3 months. The CPU ran extremely well in my DFI board with no issues and ran OSX86 flawlessly. This is also one of the very few 754 CPUs that support the SSE3 instruction set. Default speed is 2.4ghz at 1.4volts. It was never overclocked at 2.4ghz was enough...
Abit actually has a new bios out there for the NF-M2. 1.2 can be grabbed from here:
ftp://ftp-usa.abit.com.tw/pub/download/bios/nfm2/
The bios did require a little bit more voltage on my Hyper-Transport to stablize my overclock...
I installed Sandra test suite this afternoon and noticed it said my core temp was 24C....this is actually the most realistic value I have seen yet heh...
Pecos....wanted to tell you I am not having any sort of POST issues on reboot or cold start. It must be something else in your system. Here are full details of mine:
X2 4000+ Brisbane
1GB PNY DDR667 (single channel, 2nd stick on the way)
200gig Seagate HD
20X Liteon DVD Burner
16X Pioneer...
This thing is definitely my new best friend...still at stock voltage for processor, upped the RAM to 1.9V...has ran Prime for 12 hours with no issue. The RAM I got is PNY 667mhz so nothing special...took a little juice to hold stable at 700mhz:
Yeah I tried the beta bios as well....oh well still running the same as before. I did up my HT to 1250mhz and things seemed to work fine...I decided to go back to the 1000mhz it was before...any ideas what is safe and not safe for HT speeds?
What motherboard are you running? Abit hasn't had an official bios update yet for Brisbane....I am thinking this is why the temps are off...what voltage you running to get the 3.1?
