    2405FPW 480p aspect ratio TV

The 2405 has problems with aspect ratio when using component. This has been confirmed by several people. I don't know about the composite. When using 480i/480p it comes out as 5:4 ratio.

Japanese people are having problems with watching some DVDs using component. They're saying some DVDs doesn't work. Some are saying the component inputs stop workin after they play the DVD. Anyone tried it? These are Japanese ver. so it may not be an issue elsewhere. Last Samurai, Troy...

Dell 2405FPW 24" inch on the way?????

720p and 1080i are 16:10 aspect ratio right? Is there any with 4:3 aspect ratio? If source is 16:10 with no black bars on top/bottom/side it seems to be OK from what I'm reading. On the otherhand, you'll probably have problems using DVD players on component because most of them support only...

Unofficial 2405FPW Thread (Now that its been announced)

I have been reading those Japanese reviews and.a few stuff are mentioned. When using component, source with 4:3 aspect ratio are output as 3:2. It seems that 480i and 480p are determined to be 720:480 = 3:2. There seems to be no way to get a 640:480 on component. Noise (electric, not...
