Update from my side: CPU replacement arrived. I had to call them at the 10-day mark, but they replied the evening of. I'll be damned, but Newegg pulled through, in the end. 15/1 ~ 26/1 :)
I just hope they get to my claim fast. The issue is if they disappoint me and they decide to not resolve the claim for some reason, that would be a bummer.
Somehow, I don't have much faith in Newegg. I have been a customer with them for 10 years; never had trouble. But, I witnessed the declining quality of their service and inventory. Let's hope for the best, though.

I don't think so. I live in up-state NY. But, another friend bought the same processor and it was shipped from newegg's NJ warehouse just fine. Mine was shipped from CA warehouse. I believe it has to do with warehouses.
