My BFG GTX 285 is giving me artefacts in DA2 and I suppose it's due for replacement.
I'm really thinking of giving the Radeon another go, this time with the 6970 in this review. I don't want anything to do with SLI or Crossfire, so I'm hoping as far as single GPU cards go this is the 'best bang...
I just got a new GAINWARD 4870 with DP to replace a previous card. Started using the supplied DP cable and it wouldn't work unless I would force restart my PC several times while using DisplayPort + scanning for inputs.
I checked that support article and I have a BizLink DisplayPort cable...
The NEC LCD24WMGX3 I have re-packed here also has the AU Optronics A-MVA Panel.
Viewing angle is decent, but it's all an illusion, there is a lot of color shift which is, as the previous poster said, hideous.
Also, it ghosts. A lot more than usual.
Colours aren't all that fancy even...

I know because I have one, I'm returning it. While I can't confirm it for sure, I think people that say there is no problem with it are not too attentive to little details.
Black levels are good, sure, but...
I received mine today. Overall I am very satisfied, gaming performance was better than HP LP2475w but I think the IQ is slightly poorer.
A few issues. I don't know whether to replace it or just give up on 24" monitors since they're not perfect. Maybe I shouldn't even be bothered...
If I could, i would exchange it for the monitor I want to replace the HP, but the store doesn't stock it for a reasonable price... finger's crossed as I've filled out the form as a "refund requested" and they've accepted it.
I'm quite sad, actually, it has all the inputs I need and was...
I've decided that the backlight issue and the red tint issue are too much for me, so I'm trying to get a refund on this. Looks AMAZING compared to my previous TN crap LCD, but it's not perfect enough, for photo editing it is very recommended, but I couldn't balance the red to be reasonable.
I've got some backlight bleed on my new "January 2008 GIG 045" that I received a few days ago, in two areas just below the top of the monitor on the left and on the right; it seems too red to me; some pinkish hues a well. Compared with my previous TN craptastic LCD, this is stunning although I'm...
