ok, I've just hooked plugged a HDMI cable in the GPU and now the TV works. Sweet.

the 30" Dell is hooked up to the primary DVI slot, the 20" Dells with active display adapters are hooked up to the miniports and the HDTV is hooked up to the secondary DVI slot using a vga to dvi adapter.
