I ordered two more 165s first was back on 27th, and another on the 28th ( just so happened the coupon refreshed that day.) I just received both today.. Both are CCB1E 0609 FPMW one is batch code 029 and the other is 261. Hopefully everyone gets a good one this time around.

Nightmare did u contact monarch about this problem? if so what was the resolution?

Also... I am not 100% sure if it will work or not, but I heard you can straighten pins by using a fine point mechanical pencil... empty out the lead so you have the hollow point... stick it carefully on the pin and slowly straighten it out... DO NOT over bend or bend multiple times as it may...

Just as a heads up... a friend of mine received a 0608 about a week ago... He has not built his computer yet, so we took a look at his, and the pins all down one side are wavy looks like they had some pressure on them as well.... not even close to as bad as this... but still wavy not at all...

getting back to Young Bloods first post here... I received both of my opteron 165s this week from Monarch. ( I live in Canada so the shipping took awhile.) here are the self explanitory pictures. * on a side note, I am curious about the CCB1E 0606 VPMW I received... as I havent read...

I picked up 2 opteron 165s from Monarch... first one I ordered on april 6th second on april 12th. I have recived both now... the first one is a CCB1E 0608 MPMW, the second is a CCB1E 0606 VPMW. I think I lucked out as I have not heard of anyone else picking up a 0606 form monarch yet.

oh man you give me hope... :eek: I ordered one on the 6th and another one on the 12th... It would be the sweetest thing ever to get a 0608 and a 0610 Everyone cross thier fingers for me!

Hopefully the CCBBE 0610 is the 0608 Killer... Maybe itll hit like 3.8 on air!! :D

sweet! I ordered last week on thursday too and I still havent got crap. I called them and the guy said yours should ship in the next day or two. Also said they are getting a HUGE shipment in by the end of the week, so they should get back on track to filling orders. :( I never have...

OMG... I am sure if they had to wait for a new shipment to fill the processor orders, we are hooped. Crossing fingers, but my hopes just droped like 75%

Oh crap. :eek: :eek: I just placed my order for a 165 yesterday, while the coupon was still active. I am praying for a 0608... but after hearing about someone getting a 0604, I have a feeling that they are all out of the golden sample chips so most people will probably get this stepping...
