Here are some images of my fully protable Sentry with 1080p touch monitor and 25mm fan attached. (As well as wireless keyboard/mouse) perfect case for portability. Everything fits in my backpack. Only a regular power cord required to power everything. Turned my PC into an ALL In One PC.
Wait what!?!?!?! Why didn't you mod the shield instead? Why would you sacrifice the heatsink?!?!?!!?
Is there anyway that we can get our hands on these faulty heatsinks for a lower price?
That's not true. If you have an xbox controller there is an app that allows you to use the controller as a mouse and then you wouldn't need a keyboard. I use it at home all the time. The only problem is that you have to remove password login from your computer or get a usb key that automatically...
Yes the location of the CPU socket can differ but generally its around the same area and you can still move the fan around. It doesn't have to be exactly above the heatsink, but fan friendly holes is also a good solution. Thanks for suggesting that. Perhaps a bracket that matches the case...
I have the EVGA 1080TI SC2 you will be perfectly fine if you have a decent CPU cooler.
This is great! Thanks for linking it. I just found out. I left some of my comments there from my experience with the sentry.
Hello everyone. I just found out about this. I own and love the first iteration of the Sentry case. Looking at the improvements you have planned so far this new version is looking good but to be honest the biggest issues and features I would want for the sentry for me are 2.
1. A 125mm...

Can't wait for the benchmarks for this new Cooler. I hope it can...
What RAM are you using and how is the cooler? I solved all my heat Issues with the external fan and my 1080ti SC 2 runs at nice temps but without the fan there was not way the Cooler could handle the 7700k.
After using the sentry for a while I must say that in the upcoming designs they need to make the CPU intake better because the holes are not good enough for intake the metal blocks a lot of air intake. It really would have been better if they made more holes in this area and place a fan grill...
The clocks on the 8700 are lower but there is no way of running the 8700k at decent temperatures without undervolting, deliding, or like i did attaching a fan to the side.
