Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Sure, here's what I sent HP.

I've been through 3 of these. Every one had the green/red tint issue. It finally got escalated and here's what happened:
I sent the escalation team pictures of the tinting, along with many links to threads like these with people experiencing the same thing. Then he called me back, said he had...
I just recieved mine today. I also have a very noticeable uniformity issue. It's very bright on the left side and darker on the right. (it also has a bright pixel)
I'm getting a replacement Monday and if it's not better I'll be back to the drawing board.
Hey all, I just bought a 360 and i'm enjoying it on my 22" monitor... It looks really nice if i sit in my computer chair. But i'm looking forward to setting a up a pretty nice entertainment system for HD Satellite and Blu Ray content as well.
I decided that I definitely want to save the money...
whats the deal with plasma image burn?
I read about it and it seems scary. I can definitely see myself leaving the news on all day or pausing/playing an RPG for hours on end.
does image burn actually damage your TV or is it just a thing that happens and fades away after a few mintues?
I think i'll be buying a PS3 or XBOX soon, and I obviously need a nice TV to go with it. I'm also looking forward to some Blu-Ray content.
How much do you all think i'll need to spend to be happy with a TV for the next 5-8 years? I really have no knowledge outside of PCs.
Some suggestions...
My grandfather lives alone, across the continent from me. He knows next to nothing past how to operate a keyboard and mouse.
How possible would it be to make a linux build that simply found the cable modem on startup and opened gmail.com.
The thing i really am going here is for him to do...
I would estimate that 90% of all 8800GT(pcie2) owners use a PCIE1.0 motherboard.
that's a lot of people.
PCIE specifications did not kill your computer.
you could probably try making some kind of duct to blow air in the old fan opening, but you'd probably be better off just saving $20 for an accelero that will run twice as cool
