    whats the deal with plasma image burn? I read about it and it seems scary. I can definitely see myself leaving the news on all day or pausing/playing an RPG for hours on end. does image burn actually damage your TV or is it just a thing that happens and fades away after a few mintues?

    Vista64 is fine. You'll lose a small amount of FPS in games, but really, the whines about driver issues and crashes are outdated.

    I would estimate that 90% of all 8800GT(pcie2) owners use a PCIE1.0 motherboard. that's a lot of people. PCIE specifications did not kill your computer.

    you could probably try making some kind of duct to blow air in the old fan opening, but you'd probably be better off just saving $20 for an accelero that will run twice as cool
