    Keep an eye on newegg, they dropped gigabyte cards that went instantly at 10am pst and 30 mins later dropped some sapphire pulse cards. Will have to wait and see if they all get canceled or not.

    Thanks for the input. I guess it is a peace of mind thing. Maybe I won't make a big fuss about it and just hope I'm not one of the unlucky ones with the bundled kit. Don't usually give it much thought, just a long drive. But it's a pretty good deal and I like the motherboard features.

    From my reading. They support the same features. Smart, trim, ECC, etc. They both are dramless budget drives with the same controller. The elite (ex2) just appears to be slightly faster. I can't seem to find anything else differentiating them.
