Selling my 6900 XT. I bought this new maybe 2 years ago. Used for gaming. Mostly 1440p ultrawide and 4k. Certainly held its own even at 4k. Probably didn't need to replace but got a 9070 XT. Card runs great. Ran at stock settings. Temps were good, fans were quiet at stock. I did overclock it...
I managed to get a sapphire pulse yesterday during the "restock". Shipped that afternoon. Free mouse pad with it. Supposedly there was an asrock card too. I just kept checking every couple minutes on the app, saw them pop in, and got lucky. The gigabyte cards were gone within minutes. Showed in...
I wouldn't be surprised that the price updates when it restocks and is no longer 599. They maybe only update the price when they actually obtain product
Keep an eye on newegg, they dropped gigabyte cards that went instantly at 10am pst and 30 mins later dropped some sapphire pulse cards. Will have to wait and see if they all get canceled or not.
I got my bundle yesterday. I enabled memory context restore and power down was disabled and it was OK at first. Real fast boot. But after a few restarts while changing settings, my PC would freeze entirely. Even did it in BIOS. Reverted those back to defaults which is auto, which I assume means...
Thanks for the input. I guess it is a peace of mind thing. Maybe I won't make a big fuss about it and just hope I'm not one of the unlucky ones with the bundled kit. Don't usually give it much thought, just a long drive. But it's a pretty good deal and I like the motherboard features.
Waiting on a phone call from management at my "local" microcenter. Talked to customer service and they are trying to get the store to call me so I can ask about swapping the ram and paying the difference. Still deciding if I risk the ram compatibility and just get the 7800x3d like I want, or if...
I was planning on getting this bundle in a few days. Not great to hear so many issues, mostly with ram. Hoping they let me swap it out for something on the motherboards QVL list. Thanks Dreamerbydesign for pointing out their test fee. Maybe I pay them to test out the kit if I can't swap it. 2...
I just got my TG EX2 2TB they did on sale about a week ago. It dropped to 86.99, so just over 90 out the door at newegg. Performance wise, it's OK. Its sata, and it's dramless. You're looking at 500mb/s in short tasks. For a steam drive it is working great. Games load faster than HDD, helps open...
From my reading. They support the same features. Smart, trim, ECC, etc. They both are dramless budget drives with the same controller. The elite (ex2) just appears to be slightly faster. I can't seem to find anything else differentiating them.
Back up to 91.99, still not bad for an SSD for games

Or the AX2 at Amazon for 89.99. Very similar specs, practically same drive it appears.
