Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
My specs are a 3.6 @ 4.6 for the CPU as for the X800Xl it is OC to 465/575 w/Zalman 450/570 w/Standard fan and HS. I just received an aftermarket VGA cooler from Zalman it's the VF700Cu it reduced the temps 7c at idle 41c down to 34c really haven't checked the temps on full load....I've got a 2...
I run mine on an Asetek and have no problems, what you need to do is adjust your settings in the Bios under uGuru utility once you get in tab over to abit EQ this will give you the ability to adjust fan/voltage and temperature via the Bios.
MrSlacker I use ATI tool and in the hardware tab you should have a sub menu for temp monitor, I have the card from ATI and have the ability to monitor GPU and environment temperature mine stays around 40c at idle and 70c at fill tilt running 452/555.
