    Have you considered rotating the drive cage so they are vertically oriented, allowing air to rise through them out the top. You can have the power/sata facing down toward the inside of the case, so you can still have easy access pulling them out from the top.

    I couldn't find the dimensions of the pump/block, but judging from a picture I found, and other pictures, it looks to be about 2", or ~ 50mm, which I believe is close to the height of the i/o shield. But you'll probably have to wait for it to come in to see just how well everything will fit...

    I think they are more CPU intensive, but the GPU does come into play with the newer emulators, he had concerns that the intel HD4000 couldn't run the Dolphin Wii emulator very well, it looks like the 8670D was much better than HD4000 so that's why he wants to go with that one, he wanted the best...
