Aida is not indicative of real world workloads. I prefer basing my needs on actual useage and account for inclement ambient temps when they happen. I would enjoy the build, get to know it's particulars, and adjust when needed.

If the temps were really bothering you throwing a little money at them certainly doesn’t hurt anything but as was mentioned above you weren’t anywhere near the thermal limit. PC components are a LOT more resilient to heat than folks end up...

9x 120mm fans, the case has its own microclimate internally.

So a little update on the whole situation. Ordered Copper shim thermal pads and applied together with some thermal paste fixing the gap between heatsink and chipset. Temps improved a lot from 73c under heavy load in warm day to 51c after 1hour...

Except that on many motherboards, the GPU sits right on top of the chipset heatsink, both blocking airflow and putting two sources of heat close together. On my X570 Aorus Ultra it's not an issue, but I'm sure that chipset temps are higher than...

If the cooler design is the same that Nvidia showed in their cooling performance video, then it won't really be a problem. The hot air isn't being blasted onto the chipset, unlike many current axial-fan coolers. Of course, the chipset cooler is...

i'd find those temps hard to believe.. even my x570 with a vega 56 pulse blowing directly on the chipset with the fan turned off never exceeds 55C. it's possible what ever your using to read temps is pulling the cpu socket temp or VRM temp as the...

OP I think you need to stop screwing with your build before you create problems Temps are fine. Whoever posted about 3xxx gpus, did you catch the part where the OP runs 9x 120mm fans, cpu under an aio, and he’s got his gpu aio cooled under a...

https://www.amazon.com/viscous-thermal-paste-replacement-Aspire/dp/B00UTX7K2E I have used that in the past to replace thermal pads and it seems to work ok. Your temps don't look too bad honestly.

Will it become solid once applied? Never seen thermal solution like that. Just getting worries what will happen with chipset temps once next gen GPU will be inserted in PC.

Hi. Still ironing out my ryzen 3950x build. But one question I can not find answer internet. What are safe temps for x570 chipset ? Mine under full aida64 stress test reaches 75c in 30min around 63-63c while gaming and 55c while idle. I have 9...

Downgraded BIOS from 3.40 to 3.00 did run memtest86 all night. No restarts so far and no WHEA under stress tests. So far loving my X570 Taichi but BIOS updates breaks more than it fixes.Running stable at 3733Mhz CL-16-19-19-19-37 1.4V

If you're not sure it's the XMP -- turn the XMP off. If it still restarts, then it's something else (including maybe the RAM is bad) Gotta rule that out first.

About 3 months ago I rebuilt my rig with an ASUS ROG Strix-E with 3900X CPU and 2 x 16 GB of Crucial Ballistix 3600 RAM. For several weeks I would get these random reboots. No BSOD, just a complete random reboot. So finally I ran memtest for 8...

Ofc the xmp profiles don't work, they are made for Intel. And as I wrote above, your dram sticks aren't for AMD. You will have to find whatever settings that work yourself. The screen above, you are running your IF overclocked and ram at 3733mhz...

So, you're running the memory at 3733 speeds? Is fclk at 1866 as well? That's typically on the edge of stability. Some people get lucky with 1900 fclk, but I've never had that luck. When I did run at 3733, I needed 1.47v on B Die RAM. Also...

Try something slower (and probably 1.35V) for a bit to see if it works - like 3200mhz. Go up from there.

I wouldn't be using dram calc's settings until you are stable. Set it to 3600mhz and only put in the main timings of say 16-16-16-16 and leave the rest auto. A lot of the settings in the calc esp the misc items create more problems like gear and...

Got it working @3600Mhz CL16. But I think RAM was not the issue .Now that I start to think the issue started to appear after 3.40 update and what I see from redit I am not the only one effected with same issue. It was running fine on version 3.0...
