    Advice - upgrade or not?

Ah, ya I just assumed there would be some conflict with the 2 different brands of ram so I'd have to do away with the old stuff. Thanks for the tips.

    Advice - upgrade or not?

the memory is this: CORSAIR XMS3 3GB (3 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Triple Channel Kit 1.5 volts I believe. I had just planned on getting rid of it and using a new set. Don't I need triple channel since my board is triple channel? I noticed that was made for AMD after...

    Advice - upgrade or not?

I'm just looking for some advice / thoughts / opinions on what I should do with my current desktop. The components are listed in my sig. This is obviously an old build, right after core i7 came out. I'm trying to decide if I should attempt an upgrade, or just repurpose this and get something new...

ASUS VW266H switching scene modes on it's own

Did nothing for me. This is so frustrating. I sent a message to ASUS and they told me to do the same thing you did, but it unfortunately didn't fix my problem. Anyone have any other ideas?

ASUS VW266H switching scene modes on it's own

I have an ASUS VW266H that keeps changing scene modes on it's own over and over. Flipping through the list of 6 or so scene modes like mad. Stop for a bit, then starts again randomly. It seems like if I hold the scene switch button down, it stops doing it but this might just be coincidence...

Is one game windowed on each monitor possible?

I'd agree that it was the video card struggling to display 2 different resolutions except it works with 2 separate clients of Eve-online just fine. In Eve's graphics options you can select between 2 "display adapters" and get proper resolutions for each of my monitors, and it runs perfectly.

Is one game windowed on each monitor possible?

I frequently play eve-online with 2 accounts running, one on each monitor without issue. There is a way to select between 2 display adapters in game settings (even though I only have one gfx card). My monitors are 1920x1200 and a smaller one which is 1440x900. I normally play at 1680x1050 on...

    G15 keyboard problem

Tried it on my laptop and it exhibited the same behavior. I guess that means it's the keyboard and I'll have to replace it :( No more Logitech for me.

    G15 keyboard problem

have a Logitech G15 keyboard with an odd issue. For instance, when I hold left shift + d I get no capital D (or anything at all), this happens with a few other keys as well, but the left shift key works just fine with most of the other keys. Right shift and d gives me a capital D. The d key...

    EVE: newbie tips?

Eve Fitting Tool And EveMon, which you said you already have are the 2 most helpful programs I know of. As far as what to learn, that depends on what you want to do so it's hard to give advice there. If PVP is your primary goal, then train towards an assault frigate or something relatively...

Unsettling EULA for Quake Live using PunkBuster

Is there a way to prevent the punkbuster services from autostarting with windows, and just manually start them when you want to play Quakelive? I turned them to manual in services.msc, but they still autostarted when I rebooted my machine, and changed themselves back to automatic.

Asus VW266H ICM Profile/Settings via Monaco Optix XR

Gamer loving my new Asus 26" VK266H

Just got mine about an hour ago. Very pleased with it. It's absolutely enormous coming from a 19" monitor. Color looks good with minor adjustment. Slight backlight bleed across the top, but nothing I can't live with. No stuck/dead pixels that I've noticed yet. Very pleased so far. Only con...

    And There She Goes...

You've probably tried this already, but a similar thing happened to me the other day. I turned my PC off and flipped the switch on the PSU off for a couple minutes then turned it back on and viola. Good luck.
