    This has been an issue w/ the 200 series NV cards. I've had the issue in TF2 most often. I've tried a lot of setting tweaks, forcing earlier versions of DX, underclocking, lowering all settings.     Save a video card with water damage?

    Yep, I read into this trick when I had a water spillage incident with my 8800GT. It turns out the 8800 series had other issues that could be resolved with this baking process. It didn't 'fix' or revive my 8800, but it was worth the effort. Probably even more so for a newer card like yours.

    Yep, I have a NF4 board and an oc'd Opteron 165 still rockin' solid. :) Think my Alt Box is a NF2 board and XP-M 2500 which still gets the job done as a file server. The only thing that has taken out my systems have been: a BIOS flash gone bad.....and spilling water on top of my case...
