Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
IIRC even the arm chips in their newest phone, the 4S, are still 45nm.
Congrats apple, really staying ahead of 'the curve'. I assume its similar to a curve in space/time, so you dont actually need to be ahead to be ahead.
Why would like need a union? Surely staff at apples stores "just work"....
more seriously, i dont know how people can be so against unions. They are there to stop corporations ripping off employees. Employees are entitled to the value of the work they do, regardless if they happen to be able...
Enable the log when running ZAR. It will usually tell you the issue its having (mostly commonly bad sectors on one of the drives).
You can also email the log to the person who makes ZAR, and he will be willing to help solve the problem you having (ive done it myself)
Lastly, it is also...
Raid parameters are block size, order of the hard drives, and parity placement.
If the raid controller is inaccessible or causing freezing, you may want to label the drives (so you remember what order they were in, and then just connect them to the sata ports on your motherboard.
I recently recovered a large raid 5 array with rstudio. As long as you input the correct raid parameters, it should pick up the data.
The other program that might help is ZAR. At first I was unsure of the raid parameters of my array, and it was the only program able to properly work it out for...
I dont know what you need for ZFS to be proven, but its not just used by consumers here, its in use across a wide array of companies with crucial data concerns.
It would be nice if other hardware vendors would follow in behardwares footsteps and release their own return rate stats.
Having corroborating evidence (or conflicting evidence if thats what it was) would be very useful. Granted, the previous number given in brackets on behardware provides some...
Flexraid definitely allows the use of two parity drives with a 'raid 6 engine'.
I almost went down the flexraid route, but couldnt quite get it to do what I wanted.
Yup, ive noticed the external 3TB hitachis seem to be cheaper than the internal 3TB hitachis on scan for the last few weeks.
My main issue is the warranty on the external is probably voided when you take it out the case.
My situation:
Get new mobo, everything seems fine for a couple of weeks.
reboot last month, suddenly card doesnt post. ****. Try it on other systems, the card aint posting on them now either, so i think its died.
I spend a while trying to source an affordable controller that has the same RoC...
I have the P8P67 pro and had a lsi based Intel SRCSATAWB seemingly die on me.
Has anyone got a reasonable explanation as to exactly why the board doesnt like these controllers?
:(
I finally got hold of an 8708ELP (after the em2 order fell through) from america on ebay. All told its been a month since the original problem.
Anyway, I cant seem to get this 8708ELP to post. Its giving me absolutely nothing, just like the other card. Its the same on other systems I...
I have used the windows dynamic thing for disks of different size before, and it works fine. Each drive is essentially just JBOD and stuck together.
In fact I still use it for one of my arrays.
