Dr... I too have a P5AD2 Premium with the LGA775 3.4 pressie using the AlCu 7700 cooler. I plan on using the application directions on artic silvers webpage as my proc is idleing in the low 60's. You aren't alone....

any suggestions on which SATA controller to plug my devices into? (I have a HDD and DVD SATA and no RAID on the HDD)

I do already have the board but it should work fine for the time being. Not as quick of a FSB but I don't have an Extreme Edition chip so it should suffice.

I am building a system with the P5AD2 Premium board and a SATA harddrive and SATA Optical drive... anyone got some sage advice from experience? I've heard some people having SATA issues and don't want to spin my wheels if someone already has! Thanks :)
