    M.2 Storage

    Thanks for getting back. Yes I have a spare PCIe slot, why would I be limited to 2.0 x2 ?, the Maximus has 3.0 x4. Someone told me for some reason the Z boadrs did n't support booting from M.2 cards so if I'm limited to just storage and at 2.0 x2 speeds, is it worth the hassle.

    Hi All, I was thinking fo putting a M.2 drive in one of the empty lanes on my Maximus VII Formula MB, I was hopeing to boot from it but I have a sneaky feeling this is not possible. Could someone give me some addvice on, if I can use a M.2 drive and what it can do on my MB. Thanks....Ron.
