Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Here's a UK outlet for mechboards: http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/Ducky_Mechanical_Keyboard.html http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/Cherry_MX_Brown.html
And some ducky boards that are in your price range.
Using browns myself after changing from a Razer BWU board with Blues.
I'm...
If the OP can wait for about 8 or 9 months for the 7 series. As again the rumour at the moment is the last quarter of 2013 for the 7 series release.
Titan very soon however...
I would buy a new keyboard as the above people have suggested.
The board you have is a rubber dome keyboard, and I'm sure after all these years the keys aren't performing as they once use to.
Go to a local store and see if you can test out the above boards for how they feel to you...and...
The 7 series wont be a die shrink, so it will be 20 to 30 present faster at best over the 6 series.
The Titan how ever has been rumoured to be a beast of a card with a price to match, and will be released soon.
Because I believe that Corsair have made a good quality product that is good value for money with both performance and comfort. I also believe it will give me an edge while gaming and keep the noise at a minimum for those long late night gaming sessions we all have.
I have BFG cards still and don't care if they go out of warranty anymore.
What did annoy me was getting sent cards for a warranty I had, that were themselves faulty. And having to deal with rude and obnoxious people that didn't seem to care about my claim at all.
This was going back to...
I saw another post else where (overclockers net I believe) in which someone had taken the shroud off, he'd even pulled the fan off his card. he'd then placed 2 120mm fans over his card. And reported much lower temps in doing this.
It took 2 months to sort my rma out, I guess I was one of the lucky ones.
Things are beyond a joke with there service, even if they started selling graphics cards once more I wouldn't buy from them.
