i havent tested with prime95 but it can run a game for 8-10 hrs straight. i havent gone that high on north bridge because im still using the stock cooling. the most i went was 1.325v about the fan... im not planning on getting a quad and the tuniq tower looks HUGE. how does it fit in ur...

hey guys, i cant seem to get my e6400 stable at 3.0ghz. ive read that most of them can easily reach 3ghz + w/ default voltage and stock cooling. @3ghz it can boot to windows but after a little while of gaming (~10-20 mins) it freezes. @3.2ghz it doesnt even boot. im running at 2.8ghz stable...

thx...i think im gonna get a 900... few more questions about the cpu cooler tho... could u use a HSF with a backplate from a different one? i was thinking about the zalman 9500 or arctic freezer 7 how are these?

ok heres wat happened... it was able to POST at cpu voltage .1 and northbridge voltage 1.325 but it wouldnt get to windows loading screen. :confused: what should i do now? EDIT: ok i tried a few more things...i upped the northbridge to 1.35 and also tried lowering the multi. i went as high...

do i up the vcore with the cpu voltage setting or fsb vtt... how hot will the northbridge get if i increase the voltage a little?...im using stock heatsink
