Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
What I put together for ~$1800 CDN:
CPU Intel Core i7 2600K 3.4GHz 8M S1155
Motherboard Asus P8P67 Deluxe R3 P67 S1155 ATX
Videocard Asus GF GTX570 1.2GB GDDR5 PCI-E
Memory G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL (qty=2, for 16GB total)
PSU...
I'd like 16GB, but I sort of like the 6-8-6-24 CAS of the 8GB ripjaws.. I feel I could upgrade in the future should I really need 16GB. Although I understand the difference between 6-8-6-24 and 8-8-8-24 is probably next to none.?
Thanks for the suggest Motley, but that case is a little over...
Thanks guys.
That R3 case looks great, but I prefer in black or titanium grey. For some reason they don't seem to be available :(
I think I'll go ahead on the Noctua NH-C14.
