    Need help with choosing new router. My d-link 624 is crapping.

    I love my little Netgear MR814v2 4 port with 802.11b access point....lets me do just about anything with it...and it has dual firewalls built in ...NAT and SPI....I got mine with a Belkin 802.11g PCI card for $109 at staples.....I have never had to rest the router yet...the cheap RCA cable modem...

    personally...I would remove the part and use a quality DMM(that has a setting to test capacitance) like a fluke DMM for instance and then check the cap that way...if it has a reading that is within a 1-2% tolerance then it should be fine for a while...just replace it in the circiut and look for...

    as I posted in nother thread....consider the princeton LCDs or SENergy series....the 20.1" LCD2000 has great image quality and no ghosting or backlight issues that I know of and it has a great viewing angel and high contrast ratio...I am trying to get some of them right now for sale in my store...

    sounds to me like you may have more then 1 issue going on here.... first off..check to make sure you are not overheating anything...that could be the issue or you may have a bad install of your OS...or you may have a virus giving remote control(or a command t shut down the system)
