LastPass Bought By LogMeIn For $110 Million

My first thought was the absolute bad idea of adding extraneous crap to a security product, especially when the extraneous crap was LogMeIn. Next thought was thinking of the history of LogMeIn and the changes from a ground-breaking product to a cash grab. Cancelled my LastPass Premium within...

Microsoft Expands VR Ambitions With Google Cardboard Rival

Your figure of 6 users on WindowsPhone OS is flat out WRONG. I switched to a Note5 last month and so the number is now 5.

Kickstarter Now Using Stripe For Payments

I haven't had good experiences with Stripe. I think this will create more drama than PayPal.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens Official Teaser

Ok, who sat-up straight when the music and Millenium Falcon hit at the same time? Nothing gets your blood pumping like the sound of TIE fighters firing. Of course, it begs the question- what was the Millenium Falcon running from, because it sure wasn't the measly 3 TIE fighters.

How to send all email traffic to 2 different locations?

I'm guessing gmaill does forwarding, not mirroring. And no, I'm not aware of a method to accomplish what you want.

    Terminating CAT6a

IEEE may beg to differ with you. Are you saying there is no trust involved in claims of UL testing and CAT6 /6A compliance? If you use quality cable, adhere to standards, and qualify/certify, like I have been saying all along, you will be fine. If you use crappy cable, adhere to standards and...

    Terminating CAT6a

Mackintire, we keep going over the same ground again and again. I'm the first to say there is a difference between 'will work' and best practices/standards. IEEE does not certify installations at all- they only adopt and publish standards. IEEE802.3an specifies 4-twisted pair cable tested to...

    TCP/IP settings not saving

Anti-Malware, a generic for Anti-Virus, anti-rootkit, anti-Trojan, etc. Basically Norton/McAfee/Avira/AVG/what have you. Beyond that, I would look at your registry, specifically the settings controlling TCP/IP settings. You could also try a System Restore to a point before the problem presented.

    AT&T support taking a dump

I really shouldn't feed the troll, but I'm bored. Maybe I just read the OP differently from you, but I got the impression OP was working with ISP and ATT. I further assumed ATT and was working directly with the OP to resolve the issue. Just in case I'm wrong though, from the 4th post . But I...

    AT&T support taking a dump

bds, I'd stop while I could see daylight. You're wrong, and if you don't know it I dunno if you will listen as to why. The demarc is wherever the provider says it is. If the provider says it owns all the way up to the patch cable and card in your computer, the demarc is the PCI slot. If a...

    AT&T support taking a dump

Nice job on bds. If anyone thinks incumbents /CLECs are losing money on reselling data lines, you might want to re-think. Sure, they may not be able to charge retail rates set in the 80s based on costs and huge markup, but they are not selling below their costs. Lets say the CLECs actually are...

    Terminating CAT6a

Read the post, OP stated CAT5e will run 10GbE to 45 meters. Thanks for the wrong and irrelevant information though.

    AT&T support taking a dump

I hear you and know your pain- I'm not contradicting you. From what you've said, you've done everything I would have- document, try to be on site when they are, check their work, etc. If the Service Provider won't cooperate, what can you do? If they are the only provider of the service you need...
