my mobo is an Asus A8N SLI premium
All my drivers and bios are all updated. The game is running the latest version... no patches have been released.
The "no cd/dvd" crack is being used. I defrag, clean temp folders, and check for spyware daily.
Flatout 2 Ultimate Carnage runs well for about 2 minutes then runs at about 5 fps until i exit the game.
If i run the game on 1 core of the cpu instead of both cores, it runs perfectly... but i have to run at 4x antialiasing instead of 8x :rolleyes:

The internet doesn't work when it jams. I can't make a call when it's jammed either. I sometimes use bluetooth, but normally I have my headset off.
But when I restart the phone... voicemails and texts flood in... I've called my phone with another phone and stood there with service showing on...
Unfortunately I don't have any warranty left on the phone...
I suppose it could be the sim... the contacts on the sim look fine to me though.

Na, i totally understand what you mean. However I'm in school, so the wallet is super tight... I figured for $82 it would be a fun project... Once I land a decent job (If i ever do...) I'll be upgrading my mobo etc.

Yes, I did set BIOS to default values, and tried booting that way.
I also did try a tiny wire, but it may have been too small. I may try again. I'm just worried that it may fall down in the socket (like the other 2 i tried) and be lost. hence, I will try a thicker and slightly longer one this...
The cpu came today, and it had several bent pins (not listed in the auction)... after about an hour, using a tiny wire, I was able to straighten them out enough to get it in the 939 socket. The cpu gets warm, but the motherboard won't post. The odd thing is that the beep code is "failed memory...
