Did you unlock cores or just OC? Or neither?

I've heard rumors that the M4 motherboards with the ACC option for unlocking cpu's aren't saving settings and that when you restart you have to go through the same process all over again. Is this true? Can anyone confirm on this? I thought ASUS was a very reliable brand when it comes to OCing...

So can someone verify that ASUS motherboards keep unlocked settings even after rebooting? I read in this thread that ASUS motherboards do unlock the 4th core on phenoms II x2 but that they must stay on at all times if not they will go back to being a dual core. Has this problem been resolved...
