I'm not sure about older macs, but newer ones will have the windows drivers on the OS X install disc. Just put it in while in Windows and it will install everything. Easiest XP install I've ever done, tbh.

Believe it or not, the vehicle controls are even worse on the 360 version.

The galaxy map has different views. Where it says Milky Way, it is zoomed out all the way. The different selections on that screen are clusters. Left click on a cluster and then you see different solar systems. Left click on a solar system and you see all the planets on that system. So...

When I first loaded a save game, it still took quite a long time, but after that, loading new areas and save times were drastically improved.

2nd vote for a DeathAdder. They're not all that expensive either. After trying several laser mice (Copperhead, G5, X-750F), the DeathAdder was a very welcome replacement. Best mouse I've used. If you're going after a mouse with a lot of buttons though, DA probably won't cut it.

The Coolit systems both lose the advantage of a TEC because the power usage of the CPU is overshooting its capabilities, and you're reduced to crappy water cooling. I have an Ultra-120 Extreme and its a great HS, highly recommended.

I'm actually surprised to see people still talking about this article. It was pretty clearly biased and just flat out wrong in many respects. My current machine has a CPU only loop that used to be cooled by an Ultra-120 Extreme. Its a great heatsink, no doubt, but it couldn't beat my water...

So what happened to Barney? Unless I missed something, he wasn't even as much as mentioned in EP2.
