hey i never knocked the m4 ssds.. :p i actually just ordered a 256gb one from the newegg deal. yeah i was doing some research on the marvell controllers, and it looks like i'd get a loss in random read times and lose trim as well. would i have any problems testing out speeds on the sata 3...

ahh ic. so i would still see an improvement going from my intel g2 drive (sata 2 controller) to a crucial m4 on the marvell sata 3 controller right? just not up to the full potential?

why is that? so will they not run at all, or just not as well on a marvell controller? just wondering, kuz i'm on a P55 and was thinking about upgrading to a 510 or hyperx

if you're willing to spend a little bit more, the sd39p2 can fit a 8800gts.. also, despite what the shuttle psu's are rated, they can handle a lot more. an 8800gts would run fine with a shuttle psu

i'm kinda new to this whole thing.. i was wondering if i wasn't planning on OC'ing, would i be able to use 4gb of this ram (2 kits) on 800 at cas4?
