Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I am just wondering if it is not possible for Asus for instance to use the ROG brand for AMD and just introduce a new gaming brand for Nvidia. Should still fulfill the requirements of the program.
I don't think so. Nvidia has an excpetional lead on AMD in terms of money made on the current product line, market availability, production cost improvements etc. If they think Vega is very competetive then they simply would limit AMDs business opportunities by beeing more agressive. With that i...
Actually Kyle should make an article about those numbers and compare that to AMD and more importantly to Roy Taylors big mouth anouncements months ago. In fact he is wrong on all accounts. If those numbers prove one thing, then what kind of PR liar Roy Taylor is.
AMD should really kick this guy...
However Nvidia this round again basically completely crushed AMD in terms of efficiency and production cost. Of course a 470 is faster then a 1050Ti but it consumes way more power and for sure is way more expensive to produce for AMD and also for AIBs. So in the end the price cut in the long run...
I would actually recommend to all reviewers and hardware sites to ask Roy Taylor about the "months ahead" and VR TAM stuff. I think it is fair to hold AMD responsible for the promises they obviously failed to deliver.
Oh no... Nvidia wants to own the graphics Card market. Really? What a News that is.
I would have sweared that almost every company wants to do that the market segments it is in. What a bullshit article.
Does Nvidia want to push its own ecosystem? Of course and it is absolutely their right to...
Not only on the stock buyback but they also pay dividends and the question is whether the license agreement will just end or whether there will be renewed one.
Well actually i don't think that skipping those titles will help AMD at all. Lets be realistic here. If more and more games suck on AMD Hardware or perform less than with the compeition or have less eye candy, the ultimate result will be in an even more decreasing AMD market share.
In the end...
Well they bought the business division from AMD but whether they bought some of the patents together with that is unknown to me. I would assume that the patents still rely with AMD and that AMD granted access to them for Qualcomm when they sold that division. In that case i don't think that...
Yep. But Samsung is very diversified. They have several independent business divisions acting on their own. Manufacturing/Foundry service is not tied with the mobile phone business. In fact they still produced Apple stuff even with the running patent suits.
Not to mention that they have thousands of GPU related patents and that it is very likely that Samsung, Qualcomm and others are infringing some of their patents. So there is still plenty of ammunition on their side. It is almost impossible to build modern GPUs without having cross license...
Well the difference is that this CEO first of all does not care about the company he is employed with at all looking from a long-term perspective. This is not the case with Nvidia and JHH. It's his baby and as long as he is on board and in charge i highly doubt that price is his major concern...
Exactly what i thought :) I can still remember when Kyle pissed at Nvidia. Really AMD needs all the good press they can get. They run out of Money These days and their customer base is shrinking big time. The way their PR/Marketing department handled this whole Thing is a complete disaster...
