    LG 39GX950B 39" 5120 x 2160 OLED 165hz Ultrawide

I agree 100 percent. 165HZ is too low if you're using a 4080 and above GPU. I have a 4K/240 32" OLED but switched to a C4 42" which tops out at 144hz. The size and higher HDR brightness were great but the 144HZ is too restrictive for my 5090. Even without frame-gen, the 5090 can often go...

5090 in stock and it looks like it is staying in stock

It's in the email. Make sure it isn't hidden in the promotions folder.

Nvidia RTX 50 Series Verified Priority Access Program

Just from reading Reddit. Almost everybody or maybe even all people that got a 5090 invite also had a 4090. Also, most of them were logged into the app but I'm not sure if that really is necessary. They could probably pull the hardware data even without being logged in.

Nvidia RTX 50 Series Verified Priority Access Program

Yeah, it's annoying but you have to log in whenever there's an app update. Also sometimes I'd be logged out for no apparent reason so check every now and then.

Nvidia RTX 50 Series Verified Priority Access Program

Make sure that you're logged into the Nvidia App. I think that's how they check what GPU you have. Having a 4090 gives you a decent chance to get a 5090 invite eventually.

    Closed.

Wow, much respect to you for taking a stand against rising prices. You could have easily made close to $1000 even if you don't want something that expensive. But I guess reselling the 5090 would further raise prices and go against your principles lol.

Nvidia RTX 50 Series Verified Priority Access Program

I got one for the 5090 last Tuesday and received my card yesterday. They didn't ship out my card until late Thursday but some people got their cards with two days.

    For a 5090? Congrats.

I got nothing, what about you?

It's still quite common. Just last year, Nvidia was still giving out free games with new GPU purchases.

GeForce RTX 5090 at $3,000+: PowerGPU exposes distributor price gouging impacting system integrators

I have a 4K 240 OLED too but I like ultrawide and 45" 5k seems like it'd be super impressive while still having a pretty high DPI for productivity and web browsing. Yeah, your rig looks sick. People love the Founders' aesthetics but having owned a few, I find them kinda boring. The Gainward...

GeForce RTX 5090 at $3,000+: PowerGPU exposes distributor price gouging impacting system integrators

That's not too bad but probably not something that I would have done. The 30% performance increase isn't worth $1700 to me. I'd rather put that money towards that LG bendable 5K2K 45" OLED. Luckily, I was able to get a 5090 FE from Nvidia last week. I'm sure the FE is noisier and hotter...

GeForce RTX 5090 at $3,000+: PowerGPU exposes distributor price gouging impacting system integrators

That's the MSRP? crazy Where is that? At least your 4070S is quite decent.

I got nothing, what about you?

Any of the X3D processors would be a decent AM4 upgrade if you wanna save money or don't want to go through the hassle of a full system installation. I had a 5900X, upgraded to a 5800X3D and noticed a significant improvement in 1% lows and overall smoothness. However, I noticed an even bigger...

I got nothing, what about you?

The sad thing is that it used to be possible to save a bunch of money and upgrade to a previous gen's flagship for the more frugal gamers. Now there's no advantage to wait a few years and the 4090 costs as much or more than it did at launch.
