It turned out I need a new bios. Everything solved now. The bios came right after I decided to RMA it.

Also tried reinstalling windows and running the ram at 2133, but it didn't work. I have 8 days left to RMA it to Newegg, before I have to go through the Biostar RMA process.

Could someone please tell me what the default Vcore of the i5 6400 is supposed to be? I read 1.35v. This pic is with a 4 cores running at the same time with prime95.

This couldn't be the dreaded Skylake Bug could it? I noticed that the initial (and only) bios for this board pre-dates the discovery of the Skylake Bug. I do run prime95, both version 28.7 and 28.9, a lot in my stress testing.

WELL, I guess it is no longer an issue. I ended up ordering an EVGA 750w G2 that was on sale. I'll keep you updated on how the replacement grahpics card works out. Thx all.
