    ah thanks for that. Thanks for the link. I guess I was looking for a better deal on ram then having to pay 140 shipped for 8 gigs but I guess that still is a good deal. I need more ram to run some more vms. Anyone else have any other suggestions?

    oh is ecc ram that cheap? I may have to check out newegg then. I thought it was alot more. Would anyone have a good link to ram that is a good price in either 4gig or 8gigs?

    I wanted to say thanks for all the info about this server. Im glad to find out that I will not need to buy ECC ram. I was looking to get this to be a small win2k8 server/nas and then get another larger hp server to become a esx box for me. This looks like this will work great.
