i am simply testing the cpu now... at 1.61v with 48c it has capped out at 2680. mobo HTT is at 300. now i will test the ram in a few hrs...will update.

I never had any partition where I had only one OS. Only time I ever partitioned a drive if I had dual OS like WinXP and Windows2000. I don't plan to do that now. Only thing I can think of is 64bit Windows..but I may as well get a new HDD for that.

Modding Zalman 7700 Cu with Panaflo 120mm U1A
Yes...that's the plan. I have modded my existing Zalman 7700 AlCu and pulled out that 5 volter and cut out the Panaflo 120mm U1A beast from its frame. Then I carefully drilled holes in it to stick the Zalman Fan holder. The problem I am facing now...

While fooling around...I connected the HSF to the 4 pin connector. The HSF has a 3 pin tail and so, I connected it via 3 to 4pin connector. While I was reading the manual of the PSU, my son decided to make a go at it. :rolleyes:
