Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I ordered this 5 days or so ago, $300 w/ tax (ordered before you guys posted the 20% coupon, previous one that was posted had expired :( ) But anyway the ship date says end of October so my hopes aren't exactly good at this point.
Thanks to everyone who contributed, I've started cracking down pretty fast on this learning curve ;)
Some quick things to clarify.
So a pretty basic/cheap, yet effective setup could look something like this: Computer with sound card, feeding into 2 powered speakers or a powered sub + 2...

Are there any good...
along those lines...
this thread was first started (all things considered) a good while ago. Is there any recent news of other e-IPS monitors coming out over these next few months? Especially by Dell?
I'm thinking about picking up this 2209WA either way. But it stinks, just last...
speaking of rivatuner...I set up a couple profiles for 30% and 60% because my fan is too loud before rivatuner. However, changing from one profile to another changes nothing in terms of noise level. Running the rivatuner charts it shows fan speed increase/decreases, but the physical fan itself...
personally if the CM5 used a 12cm front fan instead of the smaller one, it would be a dream case for the midrange-budget builder. It's still a great case, that's just a big drawback. (frankly, the noise isn't noticeable on my CM5 case, but then again, it's down on the floor under my desk :D)
