So, yesterday I got into the BIOS and found the memory setting was "AUTO", not XMP. Others have said that works. So I set it to XMP and used the default profile. Also I enabled "VRM Spread Spectrum" which is supposed to help stability.
Originally the voltage on the memory was 1.5V. Enabling...
For what its worth, my P8P67 Deluxe is freezing too. It happens randomly about once every 2 days. Usually the system is idle or I am just browsing the web.
When it happens, the screen and mouse freezes. I have to power cycle to recover. Usually, the red CPU LED on the MB is lit, and usually...
A photocell is just a variable resistor - the less light, the higher the resistance. To use it to turn on or off a light will require a transistor at least. What is being turned on or off and how much current does it use? Do you want to switch on/off or have it dim or brighten as the light level...
Buckyball!!!
Look up Buckminster Fuller for architectural ideas.
Perhaps with parts from Lubic?
All sides straight equal length so easy to fabricate. The problem would be creating connectors to connect 3 lengths at each apex. Once that's figured out the rest is probably not that hard...
I put 4 TT 120x25 78cfm @2000 RPM fans on my BIX-II in a push pull arrangement. Works great and the fans are 5 bucks each, so 4 fans for the cost of one SilentX.
Usually I run these at around 7 V unless gaming or overclocking. Moves a ton of air with all 4 fans on full speed, and not that...
That plastruct is exactly what I'm lookng for.
Quite a catalog they have. Maybe I'll add a few girders and model fuel tanks to my PC while I'm at it. ;)
Thanks,

Hi
I want to create a 4 to 5 inch long bar of light. What I mean by light-bar is a piece of plastic that is illuminated by an LED on one side and it distributes the light over some shape.
I figure generic shapes are available somewhere but I have not found anything. I see these built into...
Your best bet to start out on a budget would be to find a Dyna Stereo-70 on eBay. A working unit can be found for $300 or so. And there is plenty of information and parts on the web if you want to modify it. If you go this route I can point you to some resources.
Tube amps have internal...
I decided to breadboard the circuit. The original idea probably works in theory but I could never get it balanced well. So I tried a simple logic inverter. Got it breadboarded and testsd. Seems to work!
Below is a schematic of what I tested and some shots using a typical filter, with 2,3 and...
Consider mounting the reservoir vertically in front of the motherboard. This will eliminate the need for an air valve and for a fill valve. It can be attached with velcro so it is easy to move, or dump when draining.
Looks like several sharp bends in the tubing. You will need elbows for those...
I used a PC Power & Cooling "Silencer". It isn't modular, but it does have an advantage on this case. It does not have a fan on the bottom side, which is good because on the Armor the power supply is mouinted sideways and a fan would but up right against the rear HDD cage.

I can verify the Swiftech MCX159-CU fits on the A8N Deluxe with two 7800's in SLI. Just fits. I pre-emptively replaced my stock cooler when I swapped cases and added a water cooling system. I don't have a photo but there is a pic of it on this MB on the Swiftech web site.
I am fairly sure...
