X2, how I love you so!

I don't do it fo every single program I have running on my entire PC. Just those I wish to run on each seperate cores, like FRAPS and a game. Or Winamp and a game, or whatever. It just makes me feel in control and I know the apps are running on different cores. ;)

You know what I really think? You're an idiot, yes...I really do. I see nothing wrong in setting out what program I want to run where. I don't do it for every single application, just those I want to run on seperate ones. What's your problem anyways? Seriously, just leave my thread.

What the fuck is your pproblem? Why do you care so much if I want to set which app uses which core? Get the hell out of my thread please. You are not right, you were never right.

X2, how I love you so!

I don't think you get it. I want to be in control, I want to assign what program uses what core when I do something specific. Setting your clock every minute and changing Affinity are two totally different things. :)

X2, how I love you so!

This might be a lame thread, delete if so, but I thought maybe we all could post our experiences, loves and joy that comes from out Dual Core AMD CPUs. I am technically in love with my X2 at the moment, I can now enjoy my CSS games at full 100+ FPS online. So now I can 'own' people without...

VERY Disapointed at EVGA 7900GT KO 512MB

I have to agree with Faction. It's like saying your Prius won't go 200mp/h.

    non-buggy 7900gt

I have an XFX 7900GT, no problems even after I overclocked it. I got the one that includes VIVO, which is a little more expensive. But you can get the non-VIVO version for about $30 less. The fan is a little loud yes, but does cool the card very well.

    Thermal Paste question

Thanks guys :D I basically just placed a dab in the middle and spread it out with this thing plastic 'thing' that came with an older heatsink and fan. :D So those temps (38C), measured with Core Temperature, are okay for the X2 4200+? :D

    Thermal Paste question

Hi :D I was just wondering if someone could possibly tell me the proper way to apply thermal paste to a CPU. I have Arctic Silver, and I've been shown (a while go) to cover most of the CPU with a thin layer. I've been hearing that you can just add a dab or so in the middle and the heatsink...

    CPU temperature monitoring

I fully agree with you. And the fact that they discontinued the free version is even worse

    CPU temperature monitoring

I find it to be better than most temp readers out there since I got some strange readings from Everest and SpeedFan.

Source: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=103639 Download: http://www.thecoolest.zerobrains.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=137 I thought some might find this usefull since sometimes the motherboard readings can be a little off (believe me, I know) :D
