Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Does anyone have any luck in using ESXi VMDirectPath I/O passthru on Intel S3420GPLX motherboard ?
I am trying to passthru IBM M1015 (flashed IT firmware) but it is stuck at indicating changes made will not take effect until the host is restarted ( even though I have restarted multiple times ).

I do backup *extra critical* stuff (...
Thanks all for your quick reply !! Really appreciate that.
I'd say a balance between the 2, throwing flexibility into the mix.
I lean more towards option 2 (RAID-Z in 2 vdevs), based on the assumptions below:-
1. Right mix of capacity / reliability - I have 1/5 chance of replacing a...
Hi all,
I recently acquired 12x4TB Hitachi HDD and am weighing the correct setup for this. I have 3 options for ZFS setup:-
1. 10 hdd in 10x1 vdev RAID-Z2, 2 for cold spare

3. 6 hdd in 6x2 vdev RAID-Z2, no cold spare
What is your pick...
I am using Intel S3420GPLX board with HP P410, but am having the same issue with HP P410 firmware. It works fine on 3.66B, the booting process will get stuck with newer firmware (blank screen on boot, not even rebooting).
However, plugging the P410 with newer firmware to my desktop board...
