Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Thanks for the reply. A little bit of leg work is not an issue at all. I'm glad that there is no need to update the firmware, since I don't see any problems with the first monitor.
I have two U2410 and am quite pleased with them. The first was purchased in February (I think), was built in Jan 2010 and came with A01 firmware. I never had any issues, dithering or tinting. At least none that I could visually detect. I decided a week ago to buy another U2410. I don't notice...
