Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Excellent for both music and gaming. A definite upgrade over most of the stuff at the Apple store.
Sub + 2 satellites. All cables and remote included. Everything is in perfect condition, I just upgraded to audiophile speakers.
Just look at the customer reviews, everyone loves these ...
The input lag on the PA241W (as measured by PRAD) is about 25 ms (1-2 frames).
You simply can't get a monitor that's best at everything, you have to figure out your priorities ... no matter how much you pay.
I want to correct a couple things people have said in this thread.
Eizo makes...
Here's a new option just to drive us all completely insane (my friends say I'm already there).
Announced today Dell U2311H ... 23" IPS monitor with DisplayPort, DVI and VGA, 1920x1080, pivot/tilt/swivel/height adjustable, 8ms GTG ... and rather inexpensive at $299 list. The specs say 100%...
The ZR24W is once again in stock directly from amazon.com, now at a very competitive price with free shipping.
Thanks to everyone who contributed feedback to this forum. I'm happy for those who are delighted with their new monitor. I've decided to go for a PA241W after spending way too much...
Yeah great, but now his RGB sliders are set to 94 /140/99 (default is 255/255/255). Although his calibration results look great, I'm not sure he's fully explored the impact of turning down the color channels so much. It could result in considerable banding, someone is just going to have to try...
Blackbird ... monitor reviewers usually try calibration in both 'custom color' mode and in one or more presets like sRGB to determine which starting point yields the most satisfactory results. You will need to do the same.
In either custom color or sRGB, you can set your target luminance at...
No surprises really in the flatpanelshd review. Same story ... too bright even at 0 brightness, disappointing black level.
The reviewer says he likes both U2410 and EA231WMi better. However, the review doesn't mention screen uniformity, and I'd take the ZR24W over either of those monitors...

Blackbird ... the reviewer isn't saying you shouldn't turn brightness down to get to your desired target luminance. He was just trying to make the point that the calibration software should get you there even if adjusting the brightness control can't get you as close as you would like.
The...
DataColor announced on 4/21/2010 availability of Spyder3Elite 4.0 ... it's just $19 for existing Spyder3Elite customers.
One of the new features is Software Brightness Control. Perhaps this enhancement addresses the issue with achieving the desired target luminance noted in the tftcentral...
Blackbird ... I've found an article that I think you will find very useful:

The reviewer calibrates a monitor using the Spyder3Elite package with limited success ... particularly in getting to the desired target luminance. Then he...
