    If you don't hear any popping or cracking on your X-Fi Platinum, I won't recommend upgrade to X-Fi Titanium unless you need optical input/output or Dolby Digital Live.

    Some benchmark showed that in AoC, 4870 doesn't perform as well as 280 comparing to in CoD4 4870 vs 280. I am hoping that my next video card would get me a gain of 15-20 fps at 1920x1200 with 4xAA.

    I wasn't trying to criticize him or anything. My system is 2-3 years old, so I am trying to figure out what kind of gain I would get if switch to 4870 or 280 playing AoC. He is using the same monitor I am using. Just that the pic location he took is a generally high framerate area.
