Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Looking for a cheap, but decent, cloth mousepad, the one i'm using is worn out. I just got it for free at some trade show, so another one like that would be great. Doesn't really matter if there is a picture on it or anything.

I can't seem to find anywhere to buy the "universal retention kit" by scythe, it's discontinued everywhere.

I'm getting a q6600 and planning on oc'ing to 3.0 - 3.4ghz. I'm sort of stuck on which ram to buy. I was going to go with 4gb (2x2) patriot viper ddr2 1066, 54.99AR. Then I saw a deal on Corsair, same thing except ddr2 800 24.99AR. Is it worth double the price to get 1066, or will 800 work...
For a Scythe Infinity cooler

Also, any nice 775 coolers, as I'm not sure I will be sticking with the infinity.
Thanks a lot!
I'm gonna stick with my scythe for now, depending on how it fits and how it cools my new cpu, I may get a xigmatech. thanks guys.
That is, Assuming that my scythe fits on LGA775, I'm not sure I would have kept the mounting bracket
What do you suggest? I have a scythe infinity cooler now, and I love the temp it keeps my cpu at, but the dang thing is so ridiculously big that I have to take it out to take out my ram. I would have to get something much smaller and more managable.
I've been reading some of the bad reviews and the DS3L seems to have a lot of problems with its memory slots and stability. Seeing as I'm planning on getting 1066 memory (one review said don't even try 1066 on this board), should I bite the bullet and get the more expensive gigabyte, or take a...
