NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

What are you using to measure temps? I've found hwinfo64 to be very accurate. I had a 4690k clocked at 4.8 idling around 40C and loads up to 80C at 1.33v. I've since lowered it to 4.6 and loads up to 70C at 1.23. My noctua nf12 pwm fans stay at around 1100rpm under full load with my fan profile...

Well that was easy. I do apologize for not checking that myself. Lesson learned. Many Thanks!

I know this is random but i'm not liking the noise level of my h100i. Does anyone know if the Noctua NH C14 would fit with high profile RAM (Trident X)? I know the third fan pulling wont fit.

If you care about temperatures inside your case then the reference cooler is recommended due to its blower. I own a GTX980ti SC ACX2.0+ and I may be wrong but it is on the smaller side of the 980ti's and fit just fine. I can imagine that with the wide PCB cards you'll struggle trying to connect...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I have the same PSU and I was unable to "jump" it with a paper clip. It would basically just "hummm" real quick like the night vision goggles from CS 1.6 and then do nothing, no fans or anything. This is only with the motherboard cable connected and the power cable. I don't know if I was doing...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Hey guys. I recently got my case and put my rig together. So far i am loving it, except it was the biggest pain in the ass to put together. i5 4690k 980ti - evga acx2.0+ h100i I have a question regarding the GPU temps. CPU seem great to me as it tops out at 70C @ 4.6ghz - 1.23V. However the...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Thank you very much for your reply. I think its well known that the blower style is better however I got the 980ti on a deal. My main concern was how much of a difference it would make. Seeing high temps certainly does worry me and I was curious if making a duct would provide significant...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

May you elaborate? I am currently waiting for my case in the mail but I have an H100I and GTX 980ti EVGA SC ACX2.0+. I don't plan to put anything on the bottom of the case so I would imagine an duct solution is possible. Are there any available builds showing a custom duct and how its made...

I hate to be a nag but i'm very frustrated with this shipping. I know it is not NCASE fault for shipping to take forever, but dam....I was really upset knowing that I ordered my V3 just one month before the V4 was announced (missed out on some filters) and I am finding out now that people are...

PSU making whining noise and PC won't boot.

    1. I revived the thread so as to contain the information onto one page. Sorry if that violates the forum rules. 2. I did not notice any abnormal use of force. I literally just pushed it in same with all the other PSU's i worked with.

PSU making whining noise and PC won't boot.

Fellas, Revising an old thread for simple record keeping purposes. I started my build with an SFX 600W PSU and an Asus Maximum VII Impact. I put it together a month ago, it booted and i loaded windows. I then boxed it all up and waited for my NCASE (WHICH HASN'T FREAKING COME IN THE MAIL YET...

You could snap open the SATA power and move them up and down the power cable. I have no pictures but just imagine that little plastic cover opens and you can then slide the plastic guy anywhere on the cable. Just some helpful info.

Those are some mighty fine points you have. For anyone reading, were concerned about the heat a GPU would put in a 3.5" drive mounted on the bottom of the case. Although I am eager to purchase a new 2.5"HDD, I was wondering if my logic is sound. The 3.5" drive is for low access files, meaning...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Hey guys, very first post here, unsure if i am breaking any rules. Here is my build, all parts are purchased except for the GPU (which i'm waiting for the AMD to make a move and see what happens). Most parts were previously owned. I want to know if there are any issues with the storage space...
