MSI Launches The GTX 980 Ti GAMING 6G

Yep anything over 1479MHz was a no go on the Twin Frozr cooler, would artifact instantly in Firestrike at 75-79c, my 63% asic does not help. Now 1500MHz is achieved under 55c but it's wasted on me as I use 1080p or 2160p DSR with a 60Hz monitor. Don't underestimate the soft throttle with 980Tis...

MSI Launches The GTX 980 Ti GAMING 6G

:D Mine is 63.5%, so pretty much at the bottom of the pack. At +175 I used to get 1479MHz on stock voltage. Anything closer to 1500MHz used to artifact while benching. Now with the G10+H75 and no thermal limitations +175 and +43mV takes the card to 1516MHz which I'm totally happy with. To be...

    Want 580 GTX 3GB x 2, any good deals/discounts for newegg/tigerdirect?

Whatever you do don't get an Asus Mars II instead of two 3GB 580s in SLI if your going to use very high resolutions or loads of AA as the 1.5GB usable on the Mars II will be a bottleneck in the most demanding games.

    6990 vram

Hi everybody new to the forums. I just wanted to ask about the AMD 6990s memory. I understand that in regular xfire like with two 6970s or 580s in SLI the memory does not multiply so only 2GB or 1.5GB for the 580s would be usable in these cases. The thing is that I'm sure that I read somewhere...
