Bad Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro experience / HSF recommendations??...

There's your problem. Twist the arrows and they should make a clicking noise once they are pushed in. And seriously, how many threads have you made about this now?

Bad Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro experience / HSF recommendations??...

They need to make a clicking noise and you shouldn't be able to pull on them once they're locked in. If they don't click, they are in the wrong position or you aren't pushing hard enough.

    Need help OC'ing P5N-E SLI

If the voltages are set to auto, they may be way high. Auto =/= stock. Also, be sure that your memory isn't the reason you're failing orthos by running memtest86 at boot. And are you able to run orthos for 12+ hours at those speeds or just boot windows? The reason I ask is your computer may...

    Need help OC'ing P5N-E SLI

I've got this board and oced a 6600 on it. I unlinked the memory and fsb and run them at a 1:1. It was giving me way high memory speeds when set to linked. You have to divide the fsb by 4 to get the actual number. So if you want a 400 fsb you would need to set teh bios at 1600. Memory...

Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro...what can I expect???

Make sure it seated properly and not resting on anything. I had to bend the bottom fins slighly to get proper contact. My temps were sky high to start because only about 1/2 of the HS was touching the cpu.

Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro...what can I expect???

You can expect that your temps will be greatly dependent on your case air flow, room temp, and your case temp. You can also expect your temps to be lower than stock. Some people are seeing a 15+ degree drop under load.

Freezer 7 Pro Made a HUGE difference

I have the AC and it's quiet as long as you control the fan speed. Full speed is about 2700 rpm if I remeber right and it's quite loud. I run mine at 1900 and don't notice the noise at all and I'm only losing 1-2 degrees with the lower fan speed.

My E6600 is over 80 degrees and driving me crazy...

Your CPU voltage seems quite high. I don't think it should have to be that high to get 3.33 Ghz. Right now I'm at 1.35v for 3.2 and I can get 3.4 if I bump it up to 1.5v but I'd rather have a much lower voltage than a slightly higher clock.

    Please help

I have an e6600 with an P5N-E and I am currently set at 3.4 with 1.425v and I can't get it to pass orthos blend test. I can run cpu test for 10 hours without problem at less voltage and can pass memtest for the same amount of time but always fail the blend after less than 20 min. Any help...

Newegg wants $90!! for an AC Freezer 7 Pro

Less than a week ago, they had the oem version for like $14. I bought mine for xoxide because they were cheaper for the retail version and I didn't see the oem version when I was ordering my parts.

    Crazy E6600 Temps

I had problems with my Arctic 7 Pro on a ASUS P5N-E because the heatsink nearest the processor sticks up just high enough to prevent the cpu cooler from sitting flush. I was running upper 60's at 3.0 with an E6600 under full load. I had to bend the bottom fins so it would seat right and I...
