I sure hope that we will see kaveri athlon in near future. in my mind apus are useless on desktop, well at least those expensive ones. why would i spend $190 on an apu when i can get x4 athlon+7790 for the same money, which will dominate that apu in games. we are talking 2x more performance...
ti4200, had one for about 4 years. it was also the last card i bought new from the store.
since then i usually buy 2nd hand cards and trade them every ~6 months, so i dont lose much money on them. in fact i went from g92gts to hd7850 for about $60
Well lets take a look at lets say 7850/7870 DC2 reviews from couple of weeks back. Games tested were Tomb Raider+tFX, Max Payne 3, Hitman, Sleeping Dogs....all the games that run better on AMD hardware. Along with FC3 and C3 that are "neutral". Where is nvidia bias here coz all i see are AMD...
Well i don't know where Anand got his figures but i don't believe 'em one bit. Nor can i verify those numbers as i don't have Skyrim. But if you take a look at a few other reviews (namely [H], Bit-tech, TPU, Vortez, Tom's etc..) you'll see 1GB cards doing just fine at those settings.HERE Note...
Couple of things
- 560ti is fine with 1GB and unless you are building an SLI setup 2GB will be useless on that card. Why? Its simple. The GPU just isnt powerful enough to push the level of details required to fill up that buffer. Its pretty much the same with 6950 1 and 2 gig whether you admit...
