what about the 6800 ULTRA? Is there much of a difference between the 6800GT and the Ult? I am green to this stuff and all I know is i need a AGP/256mb card that is pretty much plug/install soft./ and play..Sorry to badger you all but I just wan the most bang for my buck and something that might...

because my nvidia chipset (onboard sound) in my opinion ..well sucks..2.1= no..I want 5.1 or better..

I purchased a desktop about 6 months ago from a buddy of mine and have a blast playing games with it. I have recently been thinking about upgrading my current Fx5900 video card to maybe a X850 or 6800 (256mb)series video card, along with the best sound card I can get that will work with this...
