    Areca users: capacity expansion question

    Thanks for this thread, I just used this undocumented feature to turn my 2x1TB RAID1 into a 3x2TB RAID5. Of course it would have been faster to just reformat since the rebuilds and expands took a few days, but where is the fun in that? :cool: I am also glad that even my old 1160 supports...

    Looking for an all-in-one HTPC controller.

    I was considering a Logitech Harmony One, though I am disappointed that it is IR and not RF. I have been using a cheap MCE remote for awhile. Some of them can do power and volume for your receiver too.

    Attempting to get Ac3 pass-through

    To make AC3 work properly, I had to add this to /etc/asound.conf: pcm.!default { type hw card 2 device 1 } This should work for all users, including the MythTV user.
