    If your computer was rebooting at will, I would say it could be a PSU problem. My vote goes to reinstalling Windows. That way you can eliminate problems on the software side. After reinstall and your machine still acts up, then I would look on the hardware side.

    I reinstall Windows everytime I put in a new motherboard. I have found in the past some of the old motherboard drivers still on the hard drive might interfere with the new motherboard. I know it is a lot of work, but try reinstalling Windows. I got a feeling this will solve the problem.

    I would try the following: 1) Re-seat the video card. 2) Run some type of driver cleaner to wipe out all your old drivers. Then install a series driver that you know works well. There's a slight chance it could be related to the PSU. But if the problem is hardware related I'll put my...

    I'm the same way. I use my box mainly for gaming. (Who the hell likes to work :D ). As long as I don't crash back to the desktop, get random reboots, or the good old BSOD, I consider it stable.
